10E: Inclusive competency: Addressing ableism in nursing education

Friday, September 20 |  4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

This session will focus on key strategies for navigating academic and student support programs, services, and activities that promote a culture of inclusivity for students with disabilities, consider the unique challenges that accompany nursing education programs, support student success, and identify how ableism can contribute to unnecessary barriers.
