10D: Combating Workplace Violence using Simulation-Based Education

Friday, September 25 | 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.

This study examines workplace violence (WPV) among emergency nurses and assesses the effectiveness of simulation-based education in enhancing knowledge, confidence, and response skills. Findings show simulation enhances awareness, de-escalation ability, and reporting, helping close safety gaps and promote a safer, more supportive work environment.
