Developing highly trained interprofessional educators and facilitators requires a robust and sustainable faculty development program. We share our steps for building a mentored program for interprofessional leadership development to implement interprofessional activities for learning across a large, complex institution. Steps and strategies for building capacity for interprofessional education and collaborative practice models are shared.
