9E: Building Nursing Resilience and Capacity by Transforming the RTP Process

Nursing leaders must transform the culture of academia for graduates to be prepared to respond to escalating crises in our healthcare system. Participants will explore evidence-based solutions such as multi-track tenure systems that recognize Boyer's model and the AACNs position statement on rigorous holistic scholarship, academic-practice partnerships, and PhD-DNP collaboration frameworks that leverage complementary expertise, to build nursing’s educational and workforce capacity.
