4H: Addressing Social Determinants of Learning to Support Student Success

Shift from fee-for-service to value-based reimbursement in healthcare led to innovations addressing Social Determinants of Health and improved outcomes for underserved populations. This presentation urges critical evaluation of Social Determinants of Learning as a framework to improve outcomes for nursing students from Underrepresented Minority Groups and provides examples of evidence based innovations.
