6F: AI Assisted Transition to Practice

Thursday, September 18 | 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. 

An outcome of an academic practice partnership between a large healthcare system and a single purpose nursing college resulted in the incorporation of an AI powered clinical knowledge and judgment assessment in the capstone courses of an associate and baccalaureate nursing program. These AI powered assessments are currently used in new hire orientation for new-to-practice nurses to guide their orientation experience.
