9G: Faculty Onboarding and Mentorship: A Road Map for Supporting the Workforce

Friday, September 20 | 3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. 

An inaugural College of Nursing at a health science center developed a comprehensive faculty onboarding program infused with exemplary educational and faculty mentorship practices. The year-long mentorship component of onboarding concluded with faculty being fully prepared to pursue either clinical or tenure promotion tracks, aligning with the NLN Core Competencies for the Academic Educator.
