7B: Facilitating the Transition of Veterans into the Nursing Profession Promoting Workforce Diversity

Nursing education pathways for military veterans with prior healthcare training and experiences promotes equity, diversity, and addresses the nursing shortage. The purpose of this presentation is to describe two successful programs which supported transitioning student veterans and advocate for development of new nursing programs for military veterans.
