6C: Curriculum of Compassion: Integrating Empathy Through Narrative Pedagogy

This presentation describes a narrative-based empathy curriculum developed through a partnership between the East Tennessee State University College of Nursing and StoryCollab.Presenters will share a replicable framework and scaffolded digital storytelling activities that address mental health challenges, prevent burnout and compassion fatigue, and build resilience, emotional well-being, and psychologically safe, supportive learning environments for nurses and students.
