7E: Student Reflections on Bias and Its Interruption in Nursing Education

Implicit Bias is a serious impediment to health equity. Nurses must be able to identify bias and interrupt its influence on their nursing decisions and actions. This skill must be taught during entry-to-practice education. In a capstone course honors students identify bias through reflective practice and potential actions to disrupt it.
