10H: Imminent Disasters: Preparing Nursing Students with SimZones

Friday, September 25 | 4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. 

Disaster-preparedness education aligned with AACN Essentials was implemented through SimZones-guided simulation. After didactic learning and targeted skills practice, students engaged in a two-part mass casualty scenario. Outcomes showed increased confidence, clinical reasoning, and readiness for chaotic, resource-limited environments.
