1E: Transforming Education to Improve Disaster Preparedness and Health Equity

Nurses are crucial frontline disaster responders yet many lack knowledge and skills in responding to disasters. The lack of readiness exposes systemic vulnerabilities and health equity concerns. This quasi-experimental study aims to evaluate if integrating tabletop exercises into a disaster nursing module increases nursing students' emergency preparedness knowledge and competence.
