8C: Developing Nurse Innovator Competencies: Bridging AI Integration and Compassionate Care

Friday, September 19 | 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. 

Advances in AI are transforming healthcare, prompting collaboration between academics and practitioners to integrate AI into nursing education. This effort identified opportunities and risks, such as ethical concerns and compromised focus on compassionate care. A framework of nurse innovator competencies was developed aiming to balance AI's potential with human-centered care.
