8C: Measurable and Meaningful Competencies in Palliative Care Education

Friday, September 20 | 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. 


This presentation will detail a process for reimaging competence within hospice/palliative/supportive care. Content will center on element two of the Quality Framework for CBE Programs: Clear, Measurable, Meaningful and Integrated Competencies. The Primary Palliative Nursing Care Competence Assessment Tool (PPNC-CAT) will be shared as a mechanism to evaluate palliative care competence for undergraduate nursing students.
