8I: Grace in Growth: Fostering Development of Professional Comportment

Professional comportment, a domain of professional identity in nursing, includes key elements such as civility and respectful communication, self-awareness, and self-regulation. Nurse educators frequently report that students lack appropriate communication skills and often encounter disrespectful behavior by students, as well as other lapses in comportment. Attendees to this session will learn how to leverage AI and other strategies to help students develop skills in this area.
