8I: Social Determinants of Health: Tell the Story

Friday, September 25 | 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. 

The Social Determinants of Health in Nursing: Tell the Story project engaged doctoral nursing education students in discussions, journaling, seminars, and art projects. Students explored topics such as race, gender, policy, and other forms of inequity. The research study results included improved cultural humility, reflection on biases, and a deeper understanding of health inequities.
