8I: Visualizing Clinical Judgment Through the Use of a Concept Mapping Tool
Friday, September 20 | 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Nursing faculty should be integrating NCSBN's Clinical Judgment Model into pre-licensure courses. A concept map, aligned with the CJM, serves as a versatile learning and assessment tool for courses across a curriculum. Faculty's consistent use of the CJM map can enhance students' clinical judgment and aid in assessing their abilities. Integrating the mapping tool fosters a consistent, effective learning strategy for pre-licensure nursing programs.
