9C: Determining how Scaffolding Simulation Design Complexity Impacts Observers’ Clinical Judgement: Lessons for Competency Evaluation
Friday, September 20 | 3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
Determining competency requires measuring clinical judgment in multiple situations. The Standards of Best Practice require scaffolding simulations to learner level. However, educators must speculate appropriate simulation designs. This session will share lessons learned from a secondary data analysis and provide valuable insights into how scaffolding simulation design complexity impacts clinical judgment competency.
