8G: Enhancing Postpartum Hemorrhage Training: Integrating Hybrid Simulation with Standardized Patients and Wearable Birth Simulators

Friday, September 19 | 2:30 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.

Integration of a hybrid simulation model combining standardized patients and wearable simulators enhances nursing students’ communication and psychomotor skills. Having a simulated experience of high-risk childbirth complications, such as postpartum hemorrhage, students gain critical experience in managing emergencies, improving clinical judgement and promoting patient safety. Structured debriefing further strengthens realistic, hands-on practice.
