7A: Advancing ACE.S Curriculum: A Comparison of Artificial Intelligence and Simulated Avatar Home Visit

Thursday, September 18 | 4:00 - 4:45 p.m.

This session will present a study that explores active learning strategies to enhance nursing students' preparedness for caring for older adults in community settings. The research aligns with the NLN’s priority to advance nursing science and aims to compare the effects of augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) simulation-based learning on students' knowledge and attitudes toward older adults during a simulation based on the ACE.S Millie Larsen older adult unfolding case.
