5G: Clinical Teaching Bootcamp: Skill Building for Clinical Teaching and Precepting

Thursday, September 19 | 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. 

Developing resources and training for clinical teaching may contribute to the nurse faculty pipeline by empowering preceptors and novice teachers. A 2-day, interactive Clinical Teaching Bootcamp was held to increase confidence and effectiveness of clinical teaching skills. Using a pre-test, post-test design, confidence and self-rated skill level for clinical teaching for all Bootcamp topics increased significantly.
