5H: Nursing students’ perceptions about climate change and its sustainability
Thursday, September 24 | 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Nursing students strongly believed that climate change is real, human-driven, and relevant to nursing. Most had environmental health content but limited Climate Change training, relying mainly on social media. Positive climate perceptions correlated with stronger sustainability attitudes. Findings support integrating climate and sustainability education to strengthen climate-responsive nursing practice.
