7F: A Multimodal Approach to Increase the Simulation IQ of Nurse Educators
Friday, September 20 | 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
A QI was designed to increase faculty’s simulation knowledge and standardize simulation throughout the nursing curriculum. Interventions included multiple faculty developments, incorporating standard pre- and debriefing throughout the nursing courses, and a simulation review task force was created to evaluate current simulations. To quantify the success of the interventions, the investigators compared pre- and post-test scores of the Simulation Educator Needs Assessment Tool (SENAT).
