7F: AI-Driven Virtual Simulation for Teaching Advanced Communication Techniques

APRN students in Advanced Health Assessment (n=355) engaged in an AI-driven virtual simulation focused on delivering difficult news to a patient using SPIKES Protocol and communicating with an angry family member. Performance metrics and student feedback indicated this was a valuable experience. This innovative approach can equip students with necessary tools and support their progression toward clinical competence.
