Wednesday, September 23 | 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

This project focused on developing an interprofessional simulation to strengthen disaster preparedness for health profession students using a disaster scenario. Guided by national standards—CDC Public Health Preparedness and Response Capabilities, IPEC competencies, and the INACSL Standards of Best Practice—3 undergraduate nursing faculty created an evidence-based simulation emphasizing interprofessional collaboration and realistic disaster response.
