2G: Increasing Clinical Partner Capacity and Exploring Rural Nursing

Wednesday, September 18 |  3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

An immersive rural clinical rotation was piloted in a second-degree accelerated bachelor of science in nursing program in an urban setting to address concerns about clinical site scarcity, health outcome disparities in rural areas, and inequitable distribution of nurses favoring urban regions. Initial findings, lessons learned, and the sustainability of the rural rotation will be shared.
