2G: Predictors of an Entrenched Toxic Culture in Academic Nursing

Wednesday, September 23 |  3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. 

This presentation will define an Entrenched Toxic Culture (ETC) in academic nursing and its five conceptual attributes. We will explore demographic and organizational factors that are associated with ETC attributes and predict scores of the Entrenched Toxic Culture in Academic Nursing Inventory (ETCAN-I). Nurse educators will gain insights into harmful cultures that may be present within their educational environments.
