4F: Teaching Population Health Nursing Concepts
Thursday, September 19 | 9:15 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
This session will explore skills needed by nursing faculty and students in population health. In value-based care, improving health equity will require expanded expertise and new skills, beyond addressing social factors in health. We will focus on population health management assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills to improve measured outcomes in a defined population related to financial incentives and challenges in teaching population health to nursing students.
