2A: Designing a Multi-Component Disaster Preparedness Simulation for Prelicensure Nursing Programs: A Practical Model for Educators

Wednesday, September 23 | 3:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. 

This session equips educators with a practical, low-cost model for implementing disaster-preparedness learning activities in prelicensure programs. Using tabletop exercises, an epidemiology escape room, and an unfolding mass-casualty simulation, faculty can strengthen students’ confidence, teamwork, and competency-based disaster response skills.
