1I: Engaging Clinical Instructors in the Social and Structural Determinants of Health with a Debriefing Guide

An evidence-based social and structural determinants of health (SSDH) clinical debriefing guide was implemented in two BSN programs to support reflective learning about health inequities. Among 69 instructors surveyed, 81% used the guide, and 98% agreed it enhanced student learning about the SSDH. Instructors found it adaptable and valuable but noted time and logistical challenges. The guide increased instructor confidence and promoted equity-focused clinical teaching.
