3B: Creatively Connecting Climate Change to Curricula

As climate change continues to impact population health, it is critical that nursing faculty and institutions have the tools to support incorporating environmental and climate topics into existing curriculum. This interactive presentation will provide an overview of the challenges of the environment and climate on health, an in-depth review of tools and curriculum initiatives, and exemplar cases where the material has been successfully implemented in academic settings. Competencies mapped with various accreditation organization's competency standards will be discussed.
