5I: Challenge Accepted: A Novel Conceptual Framework to Harness the Power of Artificial Intelligence

This program will present a novel conceptual framework integrating the 5-E Instructional Model and Tanner’s Clinical Judgment Model to incorporate AI into nursing education. Tested on 151 undergraduate nursing students, the findings demonstrated significant improvements in attitudes and themes of Increased Empathy, Overcoming Ageism, and Improved Communication. The results support the framework's effectiveness in bridging AI adoption to meet competency-based educational outcomes.
