6D: Nuts and Bolts of an Interprofessional Clinical Collaborative Experience
Thursday, September 19 | 3:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
An Interprofessional Collaboration simulation utilized role-play learning to help nursing and dietetics students understand how to navigate patient-centered care. Dietetic and Nursing students reported positive learning and increased confidence in communication skills development. Both groups reported an increased awareness of roles and the importance of collaboration to ensure safe, effective healthcare delivery.
